Belvedere is a Polish vodka produced in Żyrardów, west of Warsaw, at a distillery whose history dates back to 1910. Created in 1993 and now part of LVMH, it helped establish the modern luxury vodka category, placing emphasis on origin, raw material and texture rather than simple neutrality.
The vodka is made from Polish rye and purified water, with production taking place in Poland in keeping with the country's vodka traditions. Its character is deliberately clean but not anonymous, showing a soft grain sweetness, gentle creaminess and subtle notes of almond, vanilla and white pepper.
The core Belvedere vodka is supported by a wider range that has included flavoured expressions, single-estate rye bottlings, Belvedere 10 and Heritage 176, each exploring different aspects of rye character and Polish production.
