Tobermory is an Island single malt Scotch whisky from the harbour town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Founded in 1798 as Ledaig, it is one of Scotland's older working distilleries and remains the only whisky distillery on Mull, with a setting that gives the brand a clear sense of coastal Hebridean identity.

The distillery produces two distinct styles of single malt. Tobermory is the unpeated expression, typically bright, fruity and gently maritime, with notes of citrus, orchard fruit, malt and soft spice. Ledaig, named after the distillery's original identity, is the peated style: smokier, more robust and often marked by brine, earth, pepper and coastal peat.

Tobermory's core range has included age-stated releases such as Tobermory 12 Year Old and 21 Year Old, while Ledaig is widely known through expressions including 10 Year Old and 18 Year Old. Both styles are generally bottled with an emphasis on texture and flavour, giving the distillery a broader personality than a single house profile might suggest.

Today, Tobermory offers a compelling introduction to whisky from the Scottish islands: characterful, coastal and varied, with the unpeated malt showing Mull's gentler side and Ledaig providing a more rugged, smoky counterpoint.
